We are proud to announce that we have once again passed our ADISA audit with flying colours, retaining our Distinction with Honours certification for another year.

The ADISA standard has been radically altered to reflect the need for full compliance with GDPR so we are delighted that we not only rose to the challenge once again, but we also exceeded our previous score. Our score of 97.01% is up from 95.27% last year. This makes us one of only four in the UK to achieve that level.

The Asset Disposal and Information Security Alliance (ADISA) was launched in 2010. It’s a certification scheme for companies who take part in IT asset recovery offering data sanitisation services. The accreditation system helps people who work with data to comply with strict data protection regulations. This allows us to put procedures in place to be compliant with the ADISA rules and regulations.

The scheme is open to companies who wish to operate their business at the very highest of standards. The process includes regular scrutiny from their experienced professional auditing team.

ADISA members agree to routine audits every three years. However, they also agree to unannounced surprise spot-check audits at least once per year. During this time, the ADISA auditor will turn up with no prior notice to run through a list of checks and procedures on the operating side of the business. They will select 10 or more data-bearing assets and ensure the data has been securely removed. Only when the checks are passed do we retain our certification.

We’re proud to be maintaining such a high standard for ourselves but also for our customers, ensuring that we’re able to deliver the security and peace of mind that comes with the Tier 1 experience.
